Prestige in AOTR
Prestige is how the game splits early, mid, and late power. Higher prestige does not automatically make you better at PvP, but it does open content, trade expectations, and farming patterns that lower gates cannot access.
Prestige 1
The first major reset. Unlocks the Thunder Spear quest line for most accounts, expands what you can farm with confidence, and is the right time to re-read the beginner guide for XP routes.
Prestige 2
Deeper endgame. Trading expectations rise—2× family, rare memories, and key stacks are priced like real currency. Keep screenshots and use trusted middlemen for large swaps.
Prestige 3
Top slice of the ladder. The rarest family rolls and 5-star memories can swing hardest after balance patches. Re-check the tier list the week you go shopping.
For your first clear of the loop, start with the beginner guide. When you are ready for spears, jump to Thunder Spears. For economy context, see values and trading.
